Kara Stemig

Kara Stemig currently serves as the Partner Marketing Manager for Public Cloud at Canonical since September 2023. Previously, Kara held the position of Managing Director at Conversion Marketing, leading a team of five to develop partner marketing campaigns for major clients including Google and Microsoft. From February 2017 to May 2021, Kara was the Director of Marketing & Operations at Morrison Healthcare, overseeing a team of 75 and implementing quality assurance programs for food services. Kara's extensive experience also includes roles at IBM, where responsibilities ranged from Portfolio Marketing Manager to Financial Analyst, and earlier positions at Hy Vee and Granite Bowl Inc. Kara holds an MBA from the University of Minnesota Duluth and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
