Andrew Hayward

Andrew Hayward has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.

Andrew started their career as a Credit Controller at Nottinghamshire County Council in 2008. After that, they worked as a Programme Officer in the authority's transformation programme.

In 2010, Andrew joined UK Public Sector Consulting Ltd as a Business Analyst, where they implemented a demand management process and negotiated with suppliers to reduce expenditure on Agency and temporary labour for a London Authority.

Andrew then moved on to Allianz in 2012, where they worked as a Project Manager in the Personal Lines division, delivering multiple software application developments and coordinating cross-divisional projects.

In 2015, Andrew joined ReAssure as a Project Manager, leading the delivery of several projects, including the deployment of a company-wide cloud-based telephony solution.

From 2016 to 2023, they worked at First Central in various roles. As a Senior Project Manager, they were part of the claims transformation program, leading teams and implementing a new in-house claims management system. Later, as a Product Owner, they led a Scrum Team to design and deliver an MVP solution for product diversification. Lastly, as Head of Technical Change Management, they directed a team of Scrum Masters and Release Train Engineers, supported the Product Engineering leadership team, and improved delivery processes.

Andrew's most recent position is as a Delivery Lead at Canopius Group, starting in 2023.

Andrew Hayward obtained a BSc in Human Biology from Loughborough University, which they attended from 2003 to 2006. Following this, they pursued an MSc in Molecular Medical Microbiology at the University of Nottingham, completing their studies in 2007. In terms of additional certifications, Andrew Hayward has obtained the Certified SAFe® 5 Program Consultant certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in March 2022, and the Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org in March 2023. Andrew also holds certifications in PRINCE2 Practitioner from AXELOS Global Best Practice and Requirements Engineering & Business Analysis Practice (Practitioner Certificate) from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, although the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
