Daniel Murray

Daniel Murray has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Daniel is currently working as a Senior Compliance Analyst at Canopius Group since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Bishopsgate Insurance Brokers, where they held the positions of Compliance Officer from August 2020 onwards and Compliance Analyst from September 2018 to August 2020. At Bishopsgate, they achieved several accomplishments, including being promoted and successfully implementing new policies, procedures, and a complaints system.

Before joining Bishopsgate, Daniel worked as a Risk & Compliance Analyst at Ec Insurance from October 2017 to September 2018. Daniel also served at the Financial Ombudsman Service as a Grade 3 Adjudicator from June 2013 to October 2017. In addition, they gained experience as an Administration Assistant at Hodge Lifetime from April 2011 to May 2013 and as a Tesco Administration Assistant at Tesco International Sourcing from September 2010 to April 2011.

Daniel's early career includes roles as a Junior Editor at The Times and The Wilts and Gloucestershire Standard in December 2009 and August 2009, respectively.

Daniel Murray obtained their Bachelor's degree in History from Swansea University, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they attended Cirencester College from 1999 to 2004, where they earned 3 A Levels in History, PE, Media, and Psychology, as well as 1 AS Level. In addition, Daniel Murray completed their GCSE's at Deer Park School during the same time period. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a Certificate in Anti-Money Laundering from the International Compliance Association in September 2016.
