Himal Kumar

Himal Kumar Co-founded Canopus Networks and now serves as the CTO of the company. Himal has years of experience in building production grade SDN solutions and has engineered multiple SDN/NFV applications deployed and trialled in research and production networks. He is also experienced in architecting and building scalable and efficient network applications which leverage programmable hardware. He is also a part of open-source SDN community and has contributed to various open source efforts in. He received his Master of Philosophy degree from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and Bachelors from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). His expertise has been in the areas of SDN/NFV, Software Engineering, Distributed Systems, Machine Learning and Data Analytics.
