Jason Forys has extensive work experience in the field of biosciences. Jason started their career in 2005 as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Southeast Missouri State University, where they studied a lead-tolerant yeast strain. Jason then joined Washington University School of Medicine in 2007 as a Graduate Research Assistant and later became a Staff Scientist. In 2014, they transitioned to Cofactor Genomics, initially working as a Molecular Biologist and then moving up to become the Laboratory Director. In 2019, they joined Canopy Biosciences as the Director of Operations.
Jason Forys completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Southeast Missouri State University between 2003 and 2007. Subsequently, they pursued a Ph.D. in Molecular Cell Biology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis from 2007 to 2013.
