Bernard Hostnjak

Bernard Hostnjak is a project manager who has worked in the construction industry for over ten years. Bernard began their career as a painter, before moving into project management. Bernard has experience working on both small and large scale projects. Bernard is currently working as a project manager at Canopy Fitouts, where they have been since May 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Easy Painting Services Pty. Ltd for three years. Bernard is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of worksite, as well as developing and implementing systems and procedures that enable contractors and employees to carry out their tasks. Bernard also evaluates hazards, controls risks and undertakes regular inspections of systems and equipment. In addition, Bernard supervises and instructs the construction team as well as the subcontractors. Bernard is also responsible for analysing blueprints to ensure that construction projects meet design, safety and budget specifications.

Bernard Hostnjak graduated from RMIT University with a Bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship & Management.

They are on a team with Sam Fossati - Design Manager, Beatriz Tano - Project Administer and People and culture coordinator, and Guliano Serragli - Project Manager. Their manager is Karl Simity, MD/Founder.
