Monica Nguyen

Monica Nguyen has a diverse work experience in the finance and accounting industry. Monica currently holds the position of Controller at Canopy Health, where they have been working since November 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Finance at the same company from January 2021 to November 2021 and as the Accounting Manager from September 2019 to January 2021.

Before joining Canopy Health, Monica worked at UCSF Controller's Office as an Accountant from November 2017 to August 2019. Monica also gained experience as an Internal Auditor, Manager at MedAmerica from September 2016 to November 2017.

Monica started their career at Moss Adams LLP, where they held the roles of Business Assurance Senior from July 2011 to September 2016 and Staff from January 2009 to June 2011.

With a breadth of experience in various finance and accounting positions, Monica Nguyen brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their role as Controller at Canopy Health.

Monica Nguyen has a Certificate of Advanced Accounting Proficiency from Santa Clara University, which they obtained in 2008. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics and Communications from the University of California, Davis, graduating in 2008. In addition, Monica obtained the COSO Internal Control Certificate from AICPA in April 2017.
