Dan Bender, MBA has a strong background in product management. Dan is currently working as the Director of Product Management at Canopy, where they are responsible for building the product, program, and project management capability to drive the creation of vehicle security products. Dan is also focused on establishing the methodology, principles, and practices to seamlessly integrate hardware and software for superior value to customers.

Prior to their role at Canopy, Dan worked at Ford Motor Company as a Lead Product Manager and Senior Product Manager. During their time there, they played a key role in managing the ideation, creation, and validation of major components for the Ford Commercial Solutions Ford Telematics 2018 product launch. Dan conducted research to understand key market segments and collaborated closely with the Los Angeles Police Department to develop insights into law enforcement fleet management needs.

Before Ford, Dan was an IT Product Manager at XPO Logistics, Inc. Dan partnered with executive leadership in the LTL division to identify and address problems in Yield Management, establishing a technology-focused strategic direction to improve pricing accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness. Dan also built strong relationships within the department to foster collaboration between IT and Yield Management.
