James Orsten

James Orsten has worked in the tech industry for over 25 years. James began their career in 1995 as a Teacher Assistant at the University of Calgary. In 2000, they took on the role of Knowledge Management Consultant at OnX Enterprise Solutions. In 2003, they became an Assistant to Project Manager at Encana Corporation, where they were responsible for compiling information from multiple data sources, collecting data from the SAP HR database, and creating an 'Application Verification' system. In 2004, they moved to Burnell & Associates Inc. as a Senior Software Developer / IT Manager. Most recently, in 2017, they joined Cantactix Solutions Inc. as a Technical Consultant, where they are committed to optimizing category, price and space management processes.

James Orsten obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Calgary between 1993 and 1999. In 2000, they obtained a FileNet Certified Professional certification.
