Azra Kara

Azra Kara is a seasoned marketing and communications professional with extensive experience in event management and marketing roles. Currently serving as the Marketing and Communications Officer at Canterbury Cathedral since May 2023, Azra previously held the position of Marketing Officer at EKC Group from November 2021 to April 2023. Azra also worked as an Event Manager at Peacock Events and Services Limited for a brief period in 2021 and was engaged with PizzaExpress in various capacities, including Duty Manager and FOH Team Member, from April 2014 to November 2021. Additional experience includes roles as a Trainee Design Manager and Site Office Intern at Alexander Maltby Construction Ltd, an Events and Fundraising Intern at East Kent Mencap, and a Conference and Events work placement at Canterbury Cathedral Lodge. Azra holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Kent, completed in 2019.
