Dan English

Dan English has extensive work experience in the field of technology and information security. Dan is currently employed as a Virtual Chief Information Officer at Cantey Tech Consulting, a position they have held since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Abbeville County School District for six years from August 2015 to December 2021, where they held the role of Network Administrator and Information Security Specialist. Before joining the school district, Dan worked at Geo. W. Park Seed Company, Inc. as a Help Desk Technician from March 2009 to August 2015.

Dan English attended The Citadel from 2001 to 2004 where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Management, General. From 2005 to 2007, they studied at Lander University and obtained another Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, this time in Political Science and Government. Finally, from 2019 to 2022, Dan pursued a Master of Information Technology (MIT) degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management at Virginia Tech.
