John Palmer is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in drilling engineering and technical advisory roles. Currently serving as a Senior Drilling Engineer at Cantium since August 2022, John previously held positions as a Senior Technical Advisor at Wild Well for nearly eight years, and as a Senior Drilling Engineer at Chevron, ConocoPhillips, and Global Santa Fe over a span of more than a decade. Early in the career, John gained valuable experience as a Wireline Engineer at Schlumberger. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Purdue University and dual Master of Science degrees in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University.
