Rehan Shahreyar

Rehan Shahreyar is a Senior Drilling Engineer and Team Lead at OMV, focusing on the Maui-A offshore gas field's infill campaign since January 2019, where optimization of well design and risk mitigation strategies were key deliverables. Previous experience includes a role as Well Engineer at Shell from November 2013 to December 2018, emphasizing HSE performance and incident prevention during offshore explorations. Before Shell, Rehan held various positions at PPL from September 2005 to October 2013, leading drilling engineering teams, overseeing well design preparation, and ensuring compliance with QHSE standards. Rehan's career began as a Field Engineer at Schlumberger, specializing in well stimulation, and educational credentials include a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor's degree in Drilling Engineering from Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry. Additionally, Rehan earned an advanced well engineering certificate from Shell.
