Jon Bishop

Jon Bishop currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent, Director of Learning and Innovation, and STEM Coordinator at Canton Public Schools in Connecticut since August 2015. In addition to this role, Jon has been the Assistant Director, Climbing Instructor, and Trip Leader at Camp Eagle Wing since June 2008, overseeing male counselor staff and coordinating the rock climbing program. Previously, Jon held positions as Middle School Director and Lower School Science Teacher at The Master's School in West Simsbury, Connecticut, from July 2007 to July 2015. Jon's educational qualifications include an Executive Leadership Certificate - Superintendents Endorsement from the University of Connecticut, a Sixth Year Educational Leadership from Central Connecticut State University, a Master of Arts in Education - Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Saint Joseph, and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary and Middle School Education from Carroll College.
