Anastasios Stathis, Prof MD, is an oncologist and Phase I expert currently serving as the Head of Research Service and Scientific Head of the Clinical Trial Unit at AFRi-EOC. They previously held the position of Head of the New Drugs Development Unit and Chair of Clinical Research at the Oncology Institute of Southern Switzerland. Anastasios also contributed as a Clinical Research Fellow at The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation from 2008 to 2010. They are the President of the Developmental Therapeutics Group and a Professor at USI, focusing on the early clinical development of new anti-cancer drugs. Anastasios continues their medical education, pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree at Università degli Studi di Pavia.
