Joshua Britton

Joshua Britton is the Chief Executive Officer of Debut, a company leading the transition in the beauty industry towards sustainable biotech ingredients since April 2019. In addition to this role, Joshua serves on the Board of Directors for the Independent Beauty Association and acts as a Fund Advisor for Cantos Ventures, focusing on transformative near frontier technologies. Joshua's scientific expertise includes a tenure as a Scientist at UC Irvine, specializing in cell-free systems for biomanufacturing, and as a Research Scholar in continuous manufacturing with enzyme immobilization. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Flinders University and a Postdoctoral fellowship in Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
