Nate Nelson

Nate Nelson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Nate is currently the President of Plant Operations at Canusa Hershman since November 2022. Prior to this, Nate worked at WestRock Company from 2015 to 2022, where they held multiple positions including Director of Operations, General Manager of Atlanta West Recycle, and General Manager of Jacksonville Recycle. Nate also served as Assistant General Manager at RockTenn from 2014 to 2015 and as Regional Manager at AASKI Technology in 2014. In addition, Nate has experience in the technology sector, having worked at CSC - Computer Sciences Corporation as a Team Lead and Field Service Engineer from 2008 to 2014. Before that, they served as the Operations Officer at Camber Corporation from 2007 to 2008. Nate's early career includes positions in the US Army as Headquarters Company Executive Officer, Battalion Scout Platoon Leader, and Tank Platoon Leader from 2003 to 2007. Overall, Nate Nelson has held leadership roles in operations, management, and technology throughout their career.

Nate Nelson completed their education at Norwich University, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Organizational Leadership from 2013 to 2015. Prior to this, they attended Texas A&M University from 1998 to 2001, earning a BA degree in History. In addition to their formal education, Nate has also obtained several certifications, including a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from WestRock Company in December 2019, an ITILv3 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from EXIN in November 2013, and a Security+ certification from CompTIA in April 2011.
