Garett MacGillivray

Garett MacGillivray is a seasoned product designer with extensive experience in leading design teams and projects across various companies. Currently serving as the Lead Product Designer at Canva since January 2022, Garett previously co-founded GoLoop, an automated fleet management engine, where responsibilities include directing product development. Additional experience includes co-founding Skatescoot, a brand aimed at introducing young children to skateboarding, and holding senior design roles at WooliesX and ustwo, where responsibilities encompassed project leadership, mentorship, and fostering design culture. Garett has also contributed to UI/UX design at several organizations, including Valiant Hire and Console, and has a background in digital product development from education at NAIT and MacEwan University.
