Rachel Lawrence

Rachel Lawrence is a Senior Accessibility Compliance Analyst at Canva, where they lead accessibility compliance strategy across various subsidiaries and support accessibility initiatives in Europe. Previously, Rachel served as Accessibility Lead at BestAtDigital, overseeing the internal accessibility program and consulting throughout the design life-cycle for a range of diverse products. They also have a strong background in digital design, having worked as a freelance digital designer from 2014 to 2018 and held positions at Superdry and Lumesse, where they specialized in accessible interactions for digital media. Rachel began their career in promotions and marketing management, working in nightclubs before transitioning to design and accessibility roles. They are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Advertising at the University of Gloucestershire.
