Saman Shafigh

Saman Shafigh is a skilled professional with extensive experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Currently serving as a Group Engineering Lead at Canva since November 2019, leading product teams focused on subscription and collaboration growth. Prior to this, Saman has held various technical and leadership positions at ELMO Cloud HR & Payroll, Niloofar, Ministry of Health and Education of Iran, and Iranian Blood Transfusion Organization, where Saman designed and developed core platforms and systems. With a background in Computer Science and Engineering, including a current pursuit of a PhD at UNSW, Saman has a strong foundation in tech stack including PHP, Go, NodeJs, React, Redux, Jest, and more.
