Alana Flannery

Alana Flannery is an experienced operations and engineering professional with a strong background in various industries. As the Director of Operations at Canvas from January 2022 to February 2024, Alana founded the Operations team, tailored functions to suit diverse business models, and oversaw multiple service functions including training and logistics. Prior experience includes serving as a Manufacturing Engineer at Other Machine Company, where Alana enhanced assembly line systems, and as a Mechanical Engineer at American Aerospace Airborne Systems, focusing on avionics design for aircraft. As a co-founder and Director of Technology at Agent of Presence, Alana led a multidisciplinary team in developing an illuminated handbag. Alana began a career in engineering as a Lab Assistant at Biorobotics Lab, contributing to innovative robotic designs while holding a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and Cognitive Science from Carnegie Mellon University.
