Chris Taggart

Chris Taggart is an experienced technology and eCommerce professional currently serving as the Sr. Director of Ecommerce Technologies at Sensaria since January 2023, overseeing the eCommerce platform for multiple consumer brands. In addition to this role, Chris volunteers with Electrific, providing expert advice to homeowners and municipalities on electrification efforts. A long-term contributor at Canvaspop since February 2012, Chris has held various roles including Sr. Director of Technology, Software Development Team Lead, and Software Developer. Between August 2014 and the present, Chris also serves as a Software Developer at Workshop X. Previously, Chris advised on marketing strategy, conversion optimization, and SEO at Mom Corp from 2011 to 2014, and worked as a Web Developer & Communications Officer at Hydro Ottawa from 2006 to 2012. As the owner of ThinkIT from May 2004 until 2012, Chris developed custom web applications and websites for a diverse clientele. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) from Trent University and a Certified Scrum Master designation from Berteig Consulting.
