Emmanuel Chavarria

Emmanuel Chavarria has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Emmanuel is currently the Director of Technology at Snap Finance, a position they have held since February 2019. Prior to that, Emmanuel worked at Intertec International for six years, starting as a Junior Software Developer in 2013 and eventually becoming the Senior Operations Manager, overseeing multi-disciplinary teams and managing operations for a major US bank. Emmanuel also held roles such as Operations Manager and .Net Tech Lead during their time at Intertec.

Before joining Intertec, Emmanuel worked as a Support Services Lead at POP, developing changes and resolving issues for customers using Microsoft .NET frameworks. Prior to that, they held various positions at Capital Access Network, Inc., starting as an Application Developer in 2005 and eventually becoming the Director of Application Development, where they supervised managers and team leads, as well as led the implementation of new projects and connectors for internal and external applications.

Emmanuel also gained experience at InetSoftware as a Software Developer and at ArtInSoft as a Quality Assurance Engineer for code migration projects. Emmanuel began their career at Proyectica, where they worked as a Software Developer, primarily using Oracle tools, and developed modules for government institutions.

Emmanuel's work experience began in 1994 at Consejo de Seguridad Vial, where they worked as a Junior Software Developer, maintaining and supporting automated toll collecting systems.

Overall, Emmanuel Chavarria has demonstrated a strong background in technology, with experience in leadership, project management, and software development across various industries.

Emmanuel Chavarria holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Project Management from the Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencia y Tecnología, which they obtained from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Computer Science degree in Computer Engineering from the Tecnológico de Costa Rica from 1998 to 2001. Emmanuel also holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the Universidad Internacional de las Américas, which they completed from 1993 to 1996. Emmanuel Chavarria's early education was obtained at Saint Jude's Bilingual High School, where they received a Bachelor's degree. In addition to their educational qualifications, they have obtained a certification in ISO 27001 Fundamentals from CertiProf in November 2017.
