Jesus Muñoz

Jesus Muñoz has a significant amount of experience in the field of accounting and finance. Jesus currently holds the position of Head of Accounting at Canvia since October 2023. Prior to this role, Jesus worked as the Financial And Administrative Manager at BUSINESS PARTNERS OUTSOURCING AND MANAGEMENT from July 2019 to September 2023. Jesus also served as the Accounting and Finance Manager at BDO Perú from July 2015 to June 2019, and at Advisory & Business Solutions SAC from April 2013 to June 2015. Jesus gained experience as a Senior Accountant at Deloitte & Touche from April 2011 to March 2013, at Accounting & Tax Group from November 2008 to March 2011, at tgestiona Perú from October 2007 to October 2008, and at PwC Perú from November 2006 to May 2007. Jesus initially started their career as an Administrator and Accountant at GyM S.A. in July 2003 and held the position until November 2006.

Jesus Muñoz obtained a Certified Public Accountant degree from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in 2003. In 2005, they obtained the certification of Contador Público Colegiado from the Colegio de Contadores Públicos de Lima. Jesus further pursued a Diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards at Universidad ESAN in 2011-2012. In 2015-2016, Jesus completed a Master's degree in International Business Management from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Jesus then pursued a Master's degree in Corporate Finance from Universitat de Barcelona in 2017-2018. Currently, they are pursuing an Executive MBA at CENTRUM PUCP from 2021-2023. Additionally, Jesus obtained several certifications throughout their career, including a Certificate in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) from ACCA in 2016, and certifications in Gestion de clientes potenciales from LinkedIn, Advanced Technologies for Executives from IBM, SAP S/4 HANA Financial Accounting from LinkedIn, and Accountable Manager from Lee Hecht Harrison, all in 2019-2020.
