Rafael Laynes Tutaya has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Financial Control & Treasury at Canvia. Rafael also has substantial experience working at Scotiabank, where they held several managerial positions such as Gerente Corporativo de Eficiencias, Gastos e Inversiones, Gerente de Eficiencias, Planeamiento Operacional & PMO, Sub Gerente de Control de Eficiencias, Planeamiento Operacional & PMO, and Sub Gerente de Control de Servicios Tercerizados. Before joining Scotiabank, they worked at Alicorp as a Strategic Sourcing Analyst and at JJC Contratistas Generales S.A. as a Gestor de Compras / Power User SAP - Material Management. Rafael Laynes Tutaya holds a Master of Business Administration - MBA degree in Business Administration and Management from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, earned between 2015 and 2016. In addition, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Project Management from European Open Grupo Educativo in 2016 and another Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas in 2012. Rafael 'searlier education includes a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas attained from 2005 to 2010. Rafael plans to pursue a CFO Estratégico degree in Contabilidad y finanzas at Universidad del Pacífico (PE) in 2023.
