Charlie Kramer, A.I.A. LEED AP, is a seasoned architectural professional with extensive experience in preservation and restoration. Currently serving as the Director of Preservation & Restoration at CANY since April 2016, Charlie oversees contract documents and construction administration. Prior experience includes a 24-year tenure at Beyer Blinder Belle as an Architect, where notable projects included the rehabilitation of the exterior dome and cupola of the Gould Memorial Library at Bronx Community College. Previous roles include Freelance Architect and Project Architect at various firms, including Smotrich & Platt and Gruen Associates. Charlie holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Virginia, a Master of Architecture from SCI-Arc, and a Preservation Certificate from ICCROM.
