Mr. Barzideh focuses on investments in the energy, utility, renewables, and chemical sectors. Mr. Barzideh also oversees risk arbitrage investments. Mr. Barzideh joined Canyon in 2007 from Deutsche Bank in New York, where he focused on event-driven, risk arbitrage, derivatives, and volatility strategies. Mr. Barzideh graduated with honors from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania (B.S., Economics, Concentrations in Finance and Statistics, Minor in Mathematics). Mr. Barzideh is a CFA® charterholder.
