Luis Silva

Mr. Silva is Canyon’s Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Silva supervises all accounting and operations at Canyon. Prior to joining Canyon in 2004, Mr. Silva was the Controller of Brencourt Advisors LLC, a hedge fund advisor in New York City, overlooking all accounting, operations, compliance and tax matters for the management company, its subsidiary and each investment vehicle. Before joining Brencourt Advisors, Mr. Silva was employed by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in New York City as a Senior Associate in the alternative asset and the regulated investment companies audit group. Mr. Silva is a graduate of the University of Southern California (B.S. in Accounting) and he is a Certified Public Accountant.
