Karen Ditson Blumhorst is an experienced professional with a career spanning several decades in education and business leadership. As the owner of Capabilities since June 1997, Karen has showcased entrepreneurial skills and expertise in managing operations. Previously, Karen served as CEO of Capabilities, LLC from July 1997 to May 2022 and co-owned We Can Too, LLC from August 2010 to December 2019. Alongside these roles, Karen was the Board Chairman for Capabilities Charitable Fund, Inc. from 2008 to 2013. Karen's foundational experience includes teaching at Wapakoneta High School from 1985 to 1998. Karen holds a BS in Elementary Education from The Ohio State University and an MS in Special Education from Wright State University.
