Krishna Mohan V R has extensive experience in the research and development, operations, and chemistry fields within the paint industry. Krishna Mohan started their career as a Group Leader at MRF Speciality coatings Division in Chennai in 1996 and worked there until 2001. Krishna Mohan then joined Sadolin Paints Oman Ltd as a Senior Chemist from 2001 to 2003. Following that, Krishna Mohan worked at Prisma Paints as an Operations Manager from 2003 to 2013. Finally, they joined Caparol Arabia, where they held the roles of R&D Manager from 2013 to 2014 and Director of Research & Development from 2014 to the present.

Krishna Mohan V R's education history includes obtaining an MSC in Polymer Science from Sri Krishnadevaraya University, where they studied from 1993 to 1995. In 1994, they also pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Application with a focus on Computer Applications at the Bureau of Data Processing Systems in Bombay, India.
