Seth Crass has a diverse and extensive work experience in the food industry. Seth started their career as a Quality Assurance Technician at YOSHIDA FOODS INTERNATIONAL LP in 2013. In 2014, they worked as a Quality Engineer at Bridgetown Natural Foods before moving to Trailblazer Foods, where they held roles as R&D Supervisor, R&D Manager, and eventually Director of Technical Services. In 2018, Seth joined Patagonia Provisions as a Product Quality and Safety professional. Seth then joined OLIPOP PBC in 2021, where they served as a Quality Assurance Manager and later as Sr. Manager Quality & Regulatory. Currently, Seth is working as the Director of QA / R&D at OLIPOP PBC.

Seth Crass obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Food Science and Technology from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in the years 2006-2010. Seth pursued a Postgraduate Degree (PGD) in Cooperative Organization, Rural Development, and Food Marketing from the University College Cork during 2010-2011. Seth Crass also earned a Project Management Certificate from Portland State University in 2018. Additionally, they hold various certifications, including the ASQ Certified Quality Auditor from ASQ - World Headquarters in 2021, the Pet Food Safety Course from Michigan State University in 2020, the WSU Food Ingredient Technologies Short Course from WSU in 2015, and the Acidified Foods and Glass Closure Training from Oregon State University in 2013. Seth Crass is also recognized as a Process Control Qualified Individual by the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance (FSPCA).
