Paul Drennan

Paul Drennan currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Emerging Technology and Innovation, as well as the Chief Data Science and AI Officer at The Hartford, where responsibilities include managing internal predictive analytics and modeling for the Claims department. Drennan holds advisory roles at the University of San Francisco and various companies, including Accenture and CAPE Analytics. Previous experience includes positions at Trumbull Services, UnitedHealth Group, Verisign, and Bank One, focusing on business intelligence, data science, and operational improvements. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science from the United States Naval Academy and a Master’s degree in Operations Research from the Naval Postgraduate School. Additionally, Drennan is the Executive Chief Senior Managing Principal Partner at Blackthorn Workshop, creating handcrafted leather items and kitchen tools.
