Julie Bennett

Julie Bennett is a highly experienced veterinary surgeon currently serving at Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists since October 2020. With a career spanning over three decades, Julie previously held the position of Chief of Staff and Head of Surgery at New England Animal Medical Center from 2001 to October 2020, and served as Head of Surgery at VCA South Shore Animal Hospital from 1992 to 2001. Early in the career, Julie completed a surgical residency at The Animal Medical Center from 1989 to 1992 and participated in a rotating internship at VCA West Los Angeles Veterinary Medical Group in 1988. Julie obtained a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Tufts Veterinary School (1984-1988) and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Princeton University (1979-1983).
