Tazkoma Burgoyne

Commander Tazkoma Burgoyne started her career with the Cape Coral Police Department in 2001. Commander Burgoyne is currently assigned to the Communications and Logistical Support Bureau overseeing the Communications Center, Records Division, Court Liaison’s Office, and Quartermaster’s Office. Prior to being selected as the Commander of the Communications and Logistical Support Bureau, Commander Burgoyne was the Communications Manager overseeing the daily operations of the Communications Center. Commander Burgoyne has been the Terminal Agency Coordinator for FCIC/NCIC and point of contact for the DAVID system. Commander Burgoyne has earned an Associate’s degree of Applied Science in Public Safety Communications. She also has earned the Florida State DOH certificate, APCO Police and Fire Communications Instructor Certifications. Commander Burgoyne is a member of the Rotary Club of Cape Coral and on the Board of Directors.
