Frank A. Garrett has extensive work experience in health and safety management. Frank A. began their career in 2005 as a Regional Operations Manager at NRC National Response Corporation, where they worked until 2017. In 2017, they joined Cape Environmental Management Inc as the Operations Health & Safety Manager, and later progressed to the role of Corporate Health & Safety Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Corporate Health & Safety at Cape Environmental Management Inc. Throughout their career, Frank A. Garrett has demonstrated expertise in managing health and safety programs within the environmental management industry.

Frank A. Garrett, CIH®, CSP®, CHMM® has a comprehensive education history. Frank A. obtained a Graduate Certificate in Public Health with a specialization in Occupational and Environmental Health from the University of Arizona between 2018 and 2020. Prior to that, they attended the University of Redlands from 2012 to 2014, where they studied Business Administration and Organizational Management. In 1983 to 1986, Garrett pursued Biological Sciences at Virginia Commonwealth University, and in 1982 to 1983, they studied the same field at Richard Bland College of William & Mary.

In addition to their educational achievements, Garrett holds various certifications. Frank A. obtained the Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) designation from the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management in March 2021. Frank A. became a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) through the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH®) in October 2020. In December 2019, they earned the Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) certification from the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals. In May 2019, they became a Certified CPR, AED, & First Aid Instructor through the American Red Cross Los Angeles Region. Prior to that, in January 2018, they obtained the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. Lastly, in March 2017, they received the General Engineering A License with specializations in C-21, Asbestos Abatement (ASB), and Hazardous Substance Removal (HAZ) from the Contractors State License Board.
