Nisaar Pangarker

Nisaar joined Brimstone Investment Corporation in 1995 as part of the founding team that led the company to a listing on the JSE. He is currently a managing executive at Brimstone. He holds a BBusSc (Finance) degree from the University of Cape Town and an MBA from the University of Stellenbosch. His MBA thesis was related to film finance and his research in this area has since been published.

He serves on various company private and public company boards including JSE-listed Oceana Group, Commlife Holdings, Lion of Africa Life Assurance Company, African Peoples’ Investment Company, Suidoosterfees, and Cape Town International Convention Centre. He is a member of the various audit, investment, and remuneration committees. He has a passion for the arts and has established a successful circuit for live Indian classical music performances in South Africa featuring world-renowned artists from India. He has produced many musical collaborations featuring musicians from South Africa and India in both countries. He joined the CPO board in 2015.
