Denise Cheng-Carter

Denise Cheng-Carter is an accomplished financial and project consultant with extensive experience in the education sector. Currently serving as Project and Financial Consultant at Capel Manor College since July 2023, Denise leads a £9 million building project, mentors senior management, and addresses challenges across finance and curriculum areas. Previously, Denise held the position of Interim Chief Financial Officer at Highbury College from July 2020 to December 2021, overseeing Finance, HR, MIS, Estates, and IT departments. Denise's career also includes 19 years as Deputy Principal of Finance & Resources at Calderdale College. Denise earned a BSc (Hons) in Management Studies/Operational Research from the University of Leeds between 1981 and 1984.
