Dr. Jennifer Straub serves as interim dean for the School of Business, Technology, and Health Care Administration. Dr. Straub received her Ph.D. in Pharmacology/Neuroscience Research from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2004. She then pursued her Post-Doctoral Studies in Neuroscience and Cancer Biology at the University of Vermont, where she researched the genetic etiology of the pediatric cancer Neuroblastoma. As a graduate and post-doctoral student, she was selected to speak at several conferences for her research, including the Keystone Symposia and Advances in Neuroblastoma Research Conference. Dr. Straub’s experiences in higher education include teaching both undergraduate and graduate studies, including the graduate Molecular Neurobiology course at the Marine Biological Laboratory, and undergraduate Health Sciences, Biology, and Liberal Arts/General Education courses at Eastern Connecticut State University, Johnson State College, Kaplan University, and the University of Phoenix.
