Kim Russell

Kim Russell, MEd, is a seasoned education professional with extensive experience in enrollment counseling and language instruction. Currently serving as Lead Enrollment Counselor at Capella University since January 2006, Kim connects with industry leaders to facilitate informed decision-making regarding career mobility. Previous roles include part-time TESOL instructor at Minneapolis Public Schools, where recruitment and training of volunteers for English Language Learner conversation groups occurred, and Director of Learning at KnowledgePoints, Inc., where innovative partnerships were created to provide affordable tutoring for low-income students. Kim's early career includes serving as a licensed Language Arts teacher and reading specialist in Prior Lake Public Schools.
