Melinda Paige

Part-time Faculty

Melinda Paige, Ph.D., LPC, CPCS, NCC, serves as an Associate Professor and Core Faculty member in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capella University since July 2019. As the Founding Director of the Institute for Trauma Competency since April 2015, Melinda has established expertise in trauma counseling. Additionally, Melinda works as a Trauma Clinician at the Atlanta Relationship Institute and has held a part-time faculty position in Traumatology at Georgia State University. Previously, Melinda served as an Assistant Professor in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Argosy University. Melinda holds a Ph.D. in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services from Georgia State University, earned between 2007 and 2015, and is recognized as a subject matter expert in trauma counseling and curricula development for CACREP-accredited programs.
