Patrick D. Haney

Patrick D. Haney, Ph.D. is an accomplished academic and industry professional with extensive experience in data science, analytics, and instructional design. Currently serving as a Part-Time Faculty and Technical Subject Matter Expert at Capella University since April 2022, Patrick instructs graduate and Ph.D. courses in Data Science and Data Analytics. Concurrently, since October 2017, Patrick has been an Adjunct Professor at the University of the Cumberlands, focusing on instructional design and curriculum development using various educational technologies. Previous roles include Senior Business IT Intelligence Analyst at Partners Health Management and Senior Technology Business/Data Manager at NTT DATA Services, where Patrick led project management efforts and mentored large cross-functional teams. With a strong background in financial consulting and data analysis from notable firms such as Price Waterhouse Coopers and Ernst & Young, Patrick holds a PhD in Engineering Technology from Northcentral University, an MBA from the University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor's in Finance from the University of South Carolina.
