Phyllis Misite

Phyllis Misite's work experience includes multiple roles at Capella University, starting in 2013. Phyllis began as a Core Faculty and Lead Instructor, then transitioned to Faculty Chair for Higher Education Programs, before becoming the Program Director for Higher Education, Leadership, and Design. Phyllis also served as a part-time faculty member at Capella University from 2003 to 2013. Prior to their time at Capella University, they worked at Mount Ida College for 25 years, holding various positions including Director of Continuing Education, School Director, Program Director, and Tenured Professor in Fashion Design.

Phyllis Misite holds a Bachelor of Science degree, specializing in Clothing, Textiles, and Education, from Framingham State University. Phyllis also attended the Fashion Institute of Technology, where they obtained an Associate of Science degree in Fashion Design. Phyllis further pursued their education at Boston College, where they earned a Master's and Ph.D. in Curriculum, Instruction, and Administration.
