Dr Karen Vithanage

Dr. Karen Vithanage is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in systems integration and engineering. Currently serving as Systems Integration Manager at Capgemini since July 2024, Karen previously held the role of Software & Control Team Leader at Dennis Eagle UK from October 2018 to July 2024. Prior to that, a significant tenure at Jaguar Land Rover included positions such as Project Lead for the £35m TRANSCEND project, overseeing a specialized engineering team. Karen's early career encompasses roles at SAIC Motor UK Technical Centre, MCLAREN ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS LIMITED, Lucas Aerospace Limited, and as a Research Assistant at Coventry University. Dr. Vithanage earned a BSc, MSc, and PhD in Mathematics and Control Engineering from Coventry University and holds A levels in Pure Mathematics, Mathematics & Statistics, as well as a BEC National in Business Studies.
