Woody Means has been working in the software and firmware engineering field since 1994. Woody has worked for Qualcomm as a Wireless Firmware Engineer from 1994 to 1997. Woody then worked for the San Diego County Sheriff's Department as a Sr. Business Systems Analyst from 1997 to 2006. From 2006 to 2013, they worked for Cymer as a Sr. Software Developer - C#. From 2013 to 2019, they worked for ASML as a Sr. Software Engineer. Woody currently works at Capienda Biotech as a Principal Software/Firmware Engineer.
Woody Means obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from San Diego State University between 1994 and 1999. Woody then went on to receive two certificates from UC San Diego Extended Studies - one in Applied BioInformatics (2020-2021) and one in Applied Mobile Programming (2015-2016).
