Azad Ootam

Azad Ootam currently serves as the Managing Director and Client Partner for Capita's Local Public Service Business, where the focus is on supporting councils, local authorities, the NHS, schools, and other public bodies. Prior to this role, Ootam was the Chief Technology Officer at RWS Group, overseeing the transformation of the technology function following the SDL acquisition, and held the same title at SDL plc, managing product teams and driving modernization within the company. Earlier experience includes being the Head of Business Operations at Royal Mail, where Ootam successfully implemented a major HR/payroll system, and serving as Commercial Director at the UK Border Agency, providing insights into government operations. Ootam's career began at Accenture, where significant contributions were made as a Partner and Consultant in innovation and modernization for leading UK insurers. Ootam holds a degree from The University of Manchester.
