Capital Area Immigrants' Rights (CAIR) Coalition
Emily Zitner is currently working as a Paralegal at Capital Area Immigrants' Rights (CAIR) Coalition and also serves as an Avodah Legal Fellow at Avodah. Prior to this, Emily was a Campus Interviewer and Student Tour Leader at Washington University in St. Louis. Emily has also worked as a Group Facilitator and held an Advocacy and Engagement Internship at the Anti-Defamation League. Emily has experience working with children as a Unit Leader and Bunk Counselor at Camp Timber Tops. Emily holds a degree in Anthropology with a focus on Global Health and Environment from Washington University in St. Louis.

The Capital Area Immigrants’ Rights Coalition strives to ensure equal justice for all immigrant men, women, and children at risk of detention and deportation in the DC metropolitan area and beyond through direct legal representation, know your rights presentations, impact and advocacy work, and the training of attorneys defending immigrants in the immigration and criminal justice arenas.
