Genesis Aguirre Guerra currently serves as an IJC Fellow at the Amica Center for Immigrant Rights, a position held since September 2023. Previous experience includes serving as a Summer Fellow for the Center for Immigration Law and Policy at the University of California, Los Angeles, and as a Student Attorney and Research Assistant at the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law. Additional roles span various organizations, including a Summer Fellowship at Yale Law School's Worker and Immigration Rights Advocacy Clinic, leading canvassing efforts at Faith in Action Nevada, and working as a Legal Assistant in multiple law offices. Genesis Aguirre Guerra holds a Juris Doctor from the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law and a degree in International Affairs and Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno, complemented by a program at Southwest University for Nationalities.
