Thayer Hardwick

Thayer Hardwick is an experienced legal professional specializing in immigration rights and child advocacy. Currently serving as Managing Attorney for the Children’s Program at Amica Center for Immigrant Rights since July 2022, Thayer has previously held positions such as Senior Attorney in the same program and Contract Attorney for Proyecto Dilley at Texas RioGrande Legal Aid. Additional experience includes roles as Pro Bono Attorney at CARA Family Detention Pro Bono Project, Equal Justice Works Fellow/Staff Attorney at Children's Law Center, and internships at the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia, Ayuda, and International Rights Advocates. Thayer holds a Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Yale University. Education was also completed at St. Andrew's School.
