Melanie Henderson

Melanie Henderson, CCUFC, has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Melanie started their career in 2013 as a Community Development Coordinator at Aetna, a CVS Health Company, where they worked until 2016. Melanie then joined Capital Area United Way - Baton Rouge as a Corporate Engagement Manager, where they served from 2016 to 2020. Following this, they joined Pelican State Credit Union as a Financial Outreach Supervisor from 2020 to 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Community Impact at Capital Area United Way - Baton Rouge, starting in September 2022.

Melanie Henderson, CCUFC, received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, General from Louisiana State University in 2009. Melanie has also obtained the Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) certification from the Credit Union National Association in 2022.
