Wesam al-Rashdan

Wesam AL-Rashdan is an accomplished professional in the field of operational risk management with extensive experience in the banking sector. Currently serving as an Operational Risk Manager at Capital Bank of Jordan since March 2021, Wesam oversees the implementation of procedures and analyzes the internal environment of the bank. Prior to this role, Wesam held positions at Bank Audi as an Operational Risk Senior Supervisor, where responsibilities included updating the Operational Risk Policy and training over 300 team members, and at Bank ABC, where Wesam served as a Business Continuity Manager, developing business continuity plans and training more than 600 staff members. Additional experience includes roles as an Operational Risk Assistant Manager and Senior Officer in various departments. Wesam began a career in banking at Standard Chartered Bank as a Sales Representative. Wesam holds a Bachelor’s degree in banking and finance from Yarmouk University and a Specialized Professional Diploma from the Institute of Banking Studies.
